In the few years that Willowbrook Farm has been here, the land it stands on has been transformed. The farm was built on forty 40 acres of lifeless exhausted soil, which offered little or no shelter or sustanance to local wildlife. With a careful and informed approach to developing the land for our organic egg production, it has also been possible to provide a welcoming habitat to a wide variety of wildlife. We have seen many species of wildlife on the land, including some whose population levels are currently in worrying decline.
Visitors to the farm have observed more than 25 species of birds on the land, including several species from the RSPB Red and Amber lists, which indicate population decline. To see some of the birds that we have seen please click on the links below.
